Hello, im new to Cheat Engine, but I tried to make a cheat table in Northgard (RTS), i found food, wood and money values, every one of those resources has three double values (1 value round up down the value, 2 round up up, 3 shows the value with comma and decimal parts, example in game value 67, first value 67, second 68, third 67,42...), and none of them change the in game values.

Are real values somehow hidden or something? What sould I try to do, or what should i know (what tutorial to watch).

Thanks

Resources are encrypted on 4 Byte value type.
When value on screen increases, it actually decreases.
Should do 4 byte scans for Decreased Value, when it increases.

And this is how it looks when change values to 0

And here is two amazing fully explained tutorials.

Wow thats cool, I will watch the videos and do as you say, thank you.
btw Do developers encrypt values purposely? To make it difficult to cheat?
Or is it a code architecture side effect?

EDIT: And how did you knew the way that values behave?

I tried to search it, first unknown 4 byte value, and decreased, decreased... I tried unchanged when game is paused, or value increased when it decreased in game. And I find values I cant change again. I need to watch the vids, and I will write what I have learned.

If i was developer, would probably encrypt as well, cause why not.
But yes they tend to encrypt stuff just to "protect" their game from cheaters.

I didnt knew, but started as always, Exact value scans first, if fail then:
Increased / Decreased scan type, if fail then: Changed / Unchanged scan type:
On Value Type All, which is - 4 Bytes / Double / Float, (Edit > Settings > Scan Settings)

It takes time to get used to finding values.
Sometimes its just difficult, can spend hours and nothing.
While sometimes come back for same value and find it in first 5 minutes.

Look at Recifense's table

The game has encrypted values, pretty basic. You can get to it from the display value.
