Hi,

There is a trainer, I am trying to attach using WPE, but it shows no result, but using Wireshark, it does show all the packets. In WPE, nothing.

I made a packet sender trying to attach to the trainer. It just says unable to open process. or some error. Someone suggested it may be packed.

I used many program like PEid, etc but it shows no protection.

Anyone have any ideas?

wpe is older, much much older.
wireshark is much advanced for most network tasks.

Is it possible, Wireshark is capturing on network level while WPE is on program level using w32_dll?

Nvm, My own packet sender works. somehow only WPE pro doesn't show the packets. maybe the trainer itself blocked it somehow.

Now decrypting the packet is the hard part.

WPE was made back in the Windows XP days, there are parts of its code that are not compatible with newer versions of Windows so you will land up having issues with it in some cases. It's generally not really a tool used much anymore unless you are using a VM with XP.

For the same reason Tsearch isn't used anymore and i doubt many even know what it is.

OS changed, development of these tools ended decades ago.
