I'm naive towards CE, but understand the basics.

I'm simply trying to stop the flashlight from automatically activating on the main player character.

I tried hex search, found address, tried to freeze-->crash
I tried using the debugger to see what writes/accesses this address--->crash
I set the debugger to the other options, but no dice.

Since there's tables out there that accomplish much more than what I'm trying to do, I know this must be possible. I'm on the latest CE 6.8.1, on Win 10 64bit, if this helps.
