Hacking this game is actually relatively simple, if you follow the Rule of 2:

Most values are stored as twice what they appear onscreen.

This tutorial is going to cover four main targets for hacking:

1. Gold
2. Health
3. Rapid-fire weapons
4. Spray-gun effect

1. Gold

This one's easy--just pick up the gold you get at the start of each run. Multiply that by 2, and use that as your exact value. Then go into the armory and buy something. **Please note that you will need to have rescued at least 2 townsfolk in order to be able to purchase anything.

Now, search for your new, reduced Gold amount (multiplied by 2), and you should only have one result. Edit that value to something huge (but NOT more than 2,000,000,000), and voila--you're SUPER-rich!

2. Health

This one's just about as easy as gold, but requires that you find a health-altering item in a blueprint first. Just use the same procedure you used to hack your gold amount, and poof--instant "immortal"!

3. Rapid-fire weapons

This one's a little more advanced. However, it should be fairly easy if you remember the firing rates of two weapons in particular--the Steel Sword (you start with this) and the Dual Daggers (available for cheap in the Armory).

First, search for the value 900 (the firing rate of your Steel Sword), then swap to or buy the Dual Daggers, and search for 700 (the Daggers' firing rate). You should have only one address now. Set the value to 0, and poof--instant machine-gun weapons!

4. Spray-gun effect

This is a more advanced value, but still fairly easy. Just remember the Rule of 2 applies here as well. Thus, when you have any single-firing weapon available (such as the Steel Sword or Hunting Spear), search for a value of 2. Then, switch to the Dual Daggers and search for a value of 4. You will need to repeat this for about three or four cycles.

Once you find an address near your rapid-fire address, lock it in and set it to something like 20 (you'll fire salvos of 10 swords/knives/spears, at rapid-fire speed!). Don't set it too high, or you'll slow the game down with all the weapon icons that will need to be drawn per salvo.

Please note that you will need to hack these four codes every time you start a new game (dynamic-pointer codes haven't been found yet).

I was hoping the developers went with: "Never change a running system." So anyone any idea how to make it work in the new version?
