So I'm trying to make a hack for a CoD game (PC) that seems to have all sorts of anti-debug/cheat features.

For instance, when the game is open and I open CE, the game immediately closes. When I have CE open first, the game won't even start/run. Any ideas? I've heard something to try is making CE hook to NtQueryInformation but I'm not sure how to make CE do that.

Also, whenever I edit CE with a hex editor and try and change the strings, apparently windows says it can't run the app.

That doesn't seem to stop most people. I see plenty of threads about bypassing A-C's, making CE undetected

Just because some threads are not locked that break the rules does not mean that the rules are allowed to be ignored. If you need to make CE undetected, that's up to you to figure out. There are old threads in the CE source section that cover some basic steps, outside of that, you have to figure out the rest.

Also keep in mind the rules have changed since most of those posts you referenced. Those are from ~2006, while the anti-cheat and multiplayer rules are fairly new to the site/forums due to some legal issues.
