Hi there,
Are there any functions or processes in Cheat Engine that reveal code like Ultimap does, without the need for DBVM? Or must one simply scan/next scan their way to finding the particular code in mind?
I understand if not, just making sure I'm not missing anything.
In an example, I'd like to find the function that is called when opening a chest in a SNES game.

ultimap2 works without dbvm (still needs and intel and not windows 10)
as for the example, even ultimap likely won't work because you'll find the emulator code simulating the snes code instead of the snes code running

Sounds good to me, thanks for that. Ah okay, yeah that makes a lot of sense for the SNES there. So if one was looking to modify the SNES code, would it be best to look into modifying the ROM itself?
