Hello! I've been driving my head against a wall for awhile trying the Pathfinder: Kingmaker beta. It's a singleplayer game currently in active development. Naturally like the scum that I am, I want to have a character with multiple skill points and attributes. The primary concern being attributes. At character creation, it gives you a total of 25 which you can use to up your stats. No matter what I do I simply cannot find the blasted value, and I'm unsure of how to approach it any further.

EDIT: Alright, I've made some general and exceedingly confusing headway. Searching for the Value (25 attribute points) and then spending those points on atts and searching for the value leads to a 4 byte. Searching for unknown initial value as well leads to the 4 byte and 2 Doubles? And a float that seem to mimic the behavior. HOWEVER. On returning a point (clicking in the opposite direction to return points spent) makes these values freeze and no longer function. Searching for increasing values returns the same thing. And with the same behaviour, they freeze when spending points. They eventually turn to 0 on their own.

I don't understand wtf is going on. I've managed to find the value for increasing and decreasing, then found what writes to it and disabled it. This lets me spend point freely. BUT. At the final screen the total points resets to 25 even though I've clearly spent way more than that, and will not let me proceed until the counter, I presume, is 0. Which, given I disabled the scripts, seems to be impossible to change this value anymore. What do I do? I've never seen this.
