folks,
Found Cheat Engine to work in the PS3 emulator RPCS3. I'm playing Resident Evil Revelations 2 on it and can search for ammo memory locations and manipulate those.. Problem is when entering a new area or swapping characters, the memory locations change each time, resulting in having to manually search again.
Is there a way that Cheat Engine can somehow automatically locate these locations and apply the same modification?

I would set a write breakpoint on a known ammo memory location. When the breakpoint is triggered, look at the code near the instruction pointer, working your way backwards until you see what the memory address is derived from.
The pointerscan tool may be able to find the pointer chain for you.

Here are some resources that I would recommend: (sorry I can't post links yet)
- Cheat Engine Wiki (Help File:Memory view)
- Cheat Engine 6.4 Tutorial Part 7, 8, 10 on Youtube
- Developing Autonomous Bots for Online Games

The Youtube videos have helped a bit.. Will give them a try.
If I understand it correctly, once I've identified the Base Address, the ammo cheat should apply every time I open the emulator and should remain each time it loads a new area or changes characters.
