Hello everyone,
Can someone help me?
I'm trying to change the value of an address but every time I change it it goes back to the original value alone.
I tried to freeze the value also it was not possible.
such question or topic has been answered tons of times, here are some of many possibilities:
- you found the graphical value (sometimes)
- there is an instruction constantly writing to your address (usually)
- some games doesnt like the value being changed from no where (rarely)
and it work like this:
they compare the value in the register with current address value, if it doesnt match then its gonna revert back.
a similar case happen too with modified instructions, they compare the register thats writing to your address with where that register get its value from and if it didnt match another instruction will be executed to write to your address.
there is at least over 5 possibilities that are not in my head atm. _________________
