I’m using the newest version of CE (6.5.1) to make changes in STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. I’m using instructions from a forum on the game (posted several years ago of course) and I need to open xrengine.exe in the Process List. However, it doesn’t show up. Since this is an older game, and several updates of CE have occurred, this doesn’t surprise me.

I figured an older version might work, but I’ve had trouble getting any of them to download correctly, even after putting exclusions in MalwareByte and ZoneAlarm (what a giant PITA). I did manage to get the last version 6.5, but it won’t install, even running as Administrator.

Is the xrengine Process simply named something else now, or is it not available? Thanks.

Open your task manager, in the Applications tab right click the game and click on "Go to the process" And you should see the name. Or else just go to the game dir\bin and find the game exe.

Also - check if CE work with over games.
