If changing the length in the piano roll doesn't work then you're going to need to mess with the plugin itself and change the envelope release and decay. Using some reverbs might help you out as well to get this effect. If you haven't started using cracked third party plugins I suggest you do so like Nexus, Spire, Gladiator, Waves Mercury, and UltraReverb. If it's a sample you double click it and change the release on the little wave gui, but this takes some practice.
