With that simplistic of an analysis, why do YOU comment? I'm still thinking more thoroughly and here's what I come up with:
No more Euro would mean European goods get cheaper, but also makes it harder to export to Europe due to no one strong currency anymore. Nationalist movements further splinter Europe giving US further power over Europe, that's good. Economy goes down and investment opportunities become cheaper as well, good for American investors. As a side note, this would be good for Greece now that Greece can implement its own quantitative easing program to help it get out of its shithole.

lol no your understanding of economics is shit. Its terrible for america because losing one of biggest trade partners is terrible. American exports are getting rekt by the relative appreciation of the dollar to euro. A collapse in the euro would only make this imbalance worse. Although i do agree with the idea of EU getting a hair cut and kicking out certain countries. |
You just reiterated what i said. American exports are hurt, but consumers get cheaper imports from Europe. That's gonna be a hit to our GDP of course.
