Bernie Sanders isn't what the internet cracks him up to be. The problem with his extreme socialistic-esque promises, is that he is too wishy washy. Creating and expanding more and more government programs and services is nice to the public's eye, but in reality it just spreads the tax money too thin and you end up with nonfunctional programs with a budget spread too thin.

Bernie's position against genetically modified foods is ridiculous. In a world of 7+ billion that half of them struggle for food everyday, genetically modified food IS the most humane answer to produce food to support the world population

That's... not being "against GMO". Knowing what's in the food you eat shouldn't be a problem.

Over regulation is a problem. A Cornell study found that Bernie Sanders will cost the average Vermont family an extra $500 per year for his new law. GMOs weren't even a problem to begin with, the only thing Sanders has done by catering the anti-GMO crowd is make the poor even poorer.

And Bernie Sanders is against GMOs completely. He even wrote an article online about it.

Bernie Sanders wrote:
There was concern among scientists at the FDA in the 1990s that genetically engineered foods could have new and different risks such as hidden allergens, increased plant-toxin levels and the potential to hasten the spread of antibiotic-resistant disease. Those concerns were largely brushed aside. Today, unanswered questions remain. In the United States, resolutions calling for labeling of genetically engineered foods were passed by the American Public Health Association and the American Nurses Association. In Canada, a landmark independent study by Canadian doctors published in the peer-reviewed journal Reproductive Toxicology found that toxin from soil bacterium engineered into corn to kill pests was present in the bloodstream of 93 percent of pregnant women. There is a great need for additional research because there have never been mandatory human clinical trials of genetically engineered crops, no tests for carcinogenicity or harm to fetuses, no long-term testing for human health risks, no requirement for long-term testing on animals, and only limited allergy testing. What this means is that, for all intents and purposes, the long-term health study of genetically engineered food is being done on all of the American people.

As you can see, Bernie is opposed to GMOs entirely.

That still doesn't sound like he's "against GMOs". Seems more like he saw potential risk factors in some studies and thinks it should be studied further.

Also that Cornell study link is taking me to a 404 page.

Him: "I think we should be careful about GMO's and make sure we know exactly what we're doing with them"

You: "Oh, so you're 100 percent against GMO's, got it."

try using some facts to berate someone, Lemme guess you're republican? Literally every single one of your candidates is bought and paid for (or literally is) a billionaire. I'll let you in on a little secret

You're not a billionaire, and it doesn't matter if you try and act like one. The game is rigged against you. You'll never be Trump or a billionaire no matter how hard you try
