I did the windows 10 upgrade and my PC refused to work. Should have waited for a month so that all these issues are sorted out the community.

It is a laptop. I went past the login screen but than it stayed on a blue screen with 6 white circling dots for the last 2 days. I have been trying to get hold of Microsoft for the entire duration. and have been kept on hold for the time. I have reverted back to Windows 8 which was working on it. That is why I hold back on upgrading so that initial rush is over and all the software kinks are worked out. And if I happen to run into the problem then I will be able to reach support.

Windows 10, in current state, is just terrible. Inconsistent GUI principles, a lot of apps don't even work, terrible driver support and overall really slow and clunky experience.

I that's exactly what I expected when I upgraded, but for some reason I thought I could overlook that continue to use it on daily bases - but nope, I had to rollback to Windows 8.1 until they fix they stuff.

I'm running the bare minimum hardware (intel atom, 1 gb ram) and it's running pretty smooth. Startup only takes 12 seconds. I honestly don't see much of a speed decline from when I was running 8.1.

Other than a driver issue, I haven't ran into any big problems. I assume if my hardware runs Windows 10 smoothly, any hardware can.

Well my hardware is fairly beefy and I was having a lot of issues. My Wireless card is running so slow that I'm barely able to download at rate of 60KBps. I left Visual Studio 2015 download overnight and it barely downloaded 15% of it.

Also they screwed up the interface. The previews looked so much better and were cleaner. The fact that they went with white title bar annoys because it looks out of place compared to the rest of the OS.

The theme i could give a fuck about because in a month when UXtheme comes up with a patch and the skilled as fuck people at DA come up with all black themes and stuff i will instantly revert to those

however I have heard a lot of people getting problems with wireless adapters

However everything hardware wise was supported

Works flawlessly on my PC, however I keep getting BSOD'ed on my laptop due to AMD drivers (internal_power_error). So... I have to stick with intel integrated graphics and even then it has a tendency to make my keyboard and touchpad not work (I'm assuming another driver issue).

So overall, I'm 50/50 on this update.
