How do I cheat?

I keep getting the same error when trying to enable speedhack "Failure enabling speedhack. (DLL injection failed):Error in the line 13 (call _diopen) :This instruction can't be complied.
I already have xcode installed, i am doing it to a steam game, not google chrome, whatever that means. PLEASE HELP!
