One thing I agree with you on is this. I'd take the dragon ball though, grew up with that.

I agree. Are you caught up top the latest manga chapter? Later today the new one should come out hopefully covering the finale of Doflamingo vs Luffy. Honestly I thought Oda has stretched out the last two chapters too much.

No, I don't really have the motivation to read the manga since I'm watching the anime. Only started watching rather recently. I'm at the beginning of Water 7, just finished the Foxxy games and now we're (watching with my friends) on the bit with the fuckass seahorse that steals their memories.

Manga is GOAT, anime has horribly slow pacing, not to mention garbage animation. The pacing of the anime really starts to get slower after the Impel Down arc. In the Impel Down arc, they start to only adapt a few pages per episode. In other words, turn 4 minutes of content into a 24 minute episode.
Water 7 + Enies Lobby are amazing! It's the first time the crew start to have internal conflicts and start to question each other motives, and the climax of the arc is just thrilling. Wayyyy better than skypeia and arabasta.
Foxxy arc was complete trash. Most of the anime version was filler (foxxy was in the manga, but the anime extended the games longer than the manga). The only entertaining bit out of the Foxxy arc was when Zoro and Sanji played the sport and Sanji became the ball xD

No, it's not. What you're saying is that an 'I spy' book is on par with a Sherlock Holmes novel in the mystery genre just because they both have mystery elements. Nobody is disputing that 'I spy' is technically apart of the mystery genre, What I'm saying is that kiddie shit barely qualifies, you're not amongst grade school pussies & you shut the fuck up about it and refine your taste to a more mature palette. There is a reason all the shows the OP named have been broadcast on kiddie networks, and that's because the shit is just so mindlessly repetitive as to be deemed safe enough for kids to soak in.
And while we're on the subject of nickelodeon, fuck no I wouldn't call that shit they're playing now cartoons. Back in my day, the cartoons on nickelodeon had some real substance you red skin cock charming buffalo loving mothafucka. I'm talking about ren & stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, catdog, hey Arnold!, Doug, 'Aaahh!!! Real Monsters', you know shit that actually had a concept & plot besides how many different ways can I contort my face and how many boogers can I pull out my ass before you laugh. Leave it to a fucking foreigner to not know shit about real programming.
