Linux gaming is shaping up nicely. Latest fglrx (amd driver) update (14.12 -> 15.20) gave me huge performance boost 120 -> 280 in Heaven benchmark on Linux.



Also there is new Vulcan API coming to replace OpenGl.

Ever since Mac OSX became an interesting gaming platform, Linux distros have been reaping the benefits. Good to see.

Mac OSX was there long before steam machines became an item. Nevertheless I might very well be wrong, it's conjecture.

nah your right, the market for linux users isn't nearly as strong or in demand as OS X. Not to mention ppl with macs typically have money to spend on games.

Might just be some IT companies paying a lot to reduce their taxes.
