The thing is, nuclear power (from what is commonly available) is pretty much already obsolete. I feel like for most states, wind and solar are the two least efficient per sq mile yet the most naturally acquirable and reliable options. on the subject of California's water problem, My sister's boyfriend just visited us for a week from California and didn't horde gallons of water in a frenzy of thirst. In fact, he didn't even mention the drought once. I'm not really concerned tbh.
