its hot as fuck here too. couple days ago it was cold now im fucking boiling in my room during the day. my room faces the sun and theres no trees around my wall to protect it from the sun , it fucking sucks
plus I dont have AC

Time for the yearly GET A WINDOW AC UNIT suggestion. Even a $100 unit can make a very large room colder than you could possibly want while using less electricity than your PC.

| if i was at my own place the heat wouldnt be an issue. id have it covered.in sober living with poor circulation and several people in one house. im unable to have that installed. wouldnt make sense. i can be moved to another room or another one of their houses at any time. for example today i moved from one house to another. so theyd gladly allow and accept and keep the unit. but it wouldnt be practical for me. im waiting to get my desk fan from my parents house and set it up on the edge of the bed like i did while here last summer in may.

Awesome, man. As someone known for sweating at the drop of a hat, I'm genuinely happy for you. It has been some years since I've had one, but I kind of remember the sticker on the thing quoting some ridiculously low yearly operating cost - like $60 or something. I compared it to the cost of running a computer, because most units are going to be 600W or less, and lots of folks have power supplies that big, though in practice the cost to operate the unit will vary wildly depending on temperature deltas and so forth. Worst-case scenario, it's probably $10-15 a week to run it full-blast, 24/7.
