Been doing Smolov and focusing on my squats. Decided to deadlift since I really haven't for 3-4 months. Boom, 70lb increase in my max.

but 545 in a year and a half

No, I've put more effort into my deadlifts and getting the form down more than any other lifts. You can't really do shitty deadlifts after 450 or you..well...can't really do deadlifts any more.

And held at lockout a good 3 seconds, placed down gently because I'm not a weight throwing fool. Definitely no half-rep

i try for gym 5 times a week, but i slack so hard because im complacent with just not being "fat" or "skelly", as long as you're in a socially acceptable aesthetic
also im lazy as fuark to get up and go to the gym

eh i used to go for hypertrophy thats why
all my friends did stronglifts and hit high numbers, but i never gave a shit
went for dat dere aesthetics

edit: but not fukken 545lb deadlift in 1.5 year strong
though i can see with only stronglifts then other programs when u hit a plateau, it is technically achieveable

but only if ur literally lifting only for numbers
i only did stronglifts for a bit for a good foundation to get good rep ranges off of

stronglifts (perfect, no fail) adds 15lb to deadlift every 2 weeks
so each month 30
each year 360
lets say you start at 1 plate 135
+ 360 = 495 + plateau and smolov, 545 is achieveable
wow its just a lotta dedication to the strength
fukken props brah
