It's because his page looks messy and he has lots of typos. He should have had someone else who speaks english type it up. |

Every pledge just says you'll receive that amount of discount when you decide to buy the shower, but none of the pledges actually guarantee you the shower.
Seems like a good idea, but very disorganized.

You're replacing water consumption with the consumption of electricity, carbon microfilters, and UV lamps.
Water is a renewable resource, wheres all three of the other resources are made using energy from coal/oil/frakking etc.
I wouldn't call it environmentally friendly at all. |

The warm water doesn't have to be heated up (so much) again. |

I wasn't even considering heat, just the electricity costs to pump water up an elevation of 6 feet or more.
It would be the cost of like having one of those fancy hotel water fountains in your bathroom except you also have to change the (expensive) filters every so often. |

Water heating uses CO->CO2.
Or you can use electricity that is almost same thing (because most power comes from burning hydrocarbons anyway).
So saving water is weird, so shower in cold water i guess? |
