shit anime, characters were decent but overall could have been better than it was

the ending in the anime was 100% filler and an anime only ending.
The thing that bothered me was that Soul Eater is a direct clone of Naruto, just "halloween" style.
In naruto, kakashi and jiriaya are the right hand men of the hokage. They are considered to be one of the strongest fighters in the konoha village. They both teach the young protagonists how to fight.
In soul eater, stein and maka's dad (i forget his name) are the right hand men of the death lord. They are considered to be one of the strongest fighters in death city. They both teach the young protagonists how to fight.
Also, the characters are even similar. Black star not only looks like naruto, with his spiky hair and turtle neck jacket, but also acts just like him.
Maka = sakura
Death the kid = sasuke
black star = naruto
My definition of SOUL EATER: If you take the naruto manga, change the fighting style, make the character designs spooky, and change every name to something spooky. Then you will get Soul Eater.

its just a generic story that is probably copied from older literature and then made shitty by making it into anime/manga
the characters are both generic in design, and the story is generic too.
