im gonna stop torrenting like crazy
doesnt really have to do with this but I have a serious fucking backlog of shit to watch and listen to that I already have downloaded, plus I recently got netflix so all the shitty movies on my imdb watchlist that I dont really care about can just be streamed

| I heard that you can only get convicted for seeding and not for downloading though torrents. Since if you're downloading you're only downloading 'a piece' of a movie and not the whole movie (and an other piece and an other piece and an other piece but they each come from different sources). But when you're seeding, you're uploading the whole thing.

well, seeding is worse because its distribution. similar like how people are arrested for possession of drugs vs intent to sell
and I dont think your explanation of how p2p works is correct. technically everything on the internet is sent through pieces, and if one person is receiving each piece, the other person has to be sending those pieces
anyways , to prove i wasnt scared i said id continue to seed shit which is probably worse, so showin im no pussy
