It can only be mined for 5 weeks then it's going PoS and will no longer be able to be mined. I imagine that if I made over $1000 off of dogecoin i can make even more off mintcoin. There are already trade indexes for mintcoin to Bitcoin so it is profitable. Free money.

I think I'll just buy a couple of million of mintcoins while they are cheap.
I don't think it is worth mining right now.
