I currently work for my university in a professor's investigation project.
I get paid for working like 10 hours/ month minimal wager which is around 300$ a month, but I work at home and at my hours.

I just received an invitation to work on IBM, but student's work, so it will be around 300~400 / month too. I'm sure it will be way more demanding and money wise not worth it since I currently do the university job + freelance, but I don't think I'll be able to do freelance if working on schedule for IBM.

Only doubt is because having experience at IBM would look good on my CV...

I gave it some thought. I don't really know, how much I will use my contacts here in Peru. I plan on moving to USA in a couple of years and start my game dev company once there while still freelancing.

Not exactly sure how big IBM is as a company. But I suppose depending on how much of use you are while working for them, they might help you get your company started. It may not be much, realistically, but it is better than nothing. Just my thought.

id say go with IBM, if you plan to move to USA having experience with IBM would be pretty big, IBM is fucking HUGE company.
plus, you don't need the money as much right now, once you move to the USA the cost of living is MUCH higher than Peru im pretty fucking sure, so dont worry about money now, get better experience

meh just came back from there. I had to take a very basic English test and will have to do another test before the interview, but for what I spoke with the human resources manager I might actually turn down the offer.
So they contacted me and a couple of my friends (which I didn't know until I was in the building and was kind of a pleasing surprise, made things more easygoing), we are systems engineers so we specialize in planning and seeing through projects as well as software development, but IBM wants a salesman.
So my first impression was along the lines of " You are kidding right? "
