So i have been using Advanced systemcare ultimate, iobit malware fighter and the driver booster. i can admit my pc has never preformed better. and all of my pc's have not had a problem since. but i keep seeing arcticles like this
http://shanegowland.com/opinions/2012/iobit-is-a-sucky-company/
i have scanned with multiple malware scanners and antivirus. including bootable linux based antivirus's. so i dont knkow if this was a smash campain or if they wrote a very advanced malware.
cnet has a 5 star review also. so im still conflicted
(i do not care about the situtaion where they stole malwerebytes virus definitions because its the same as piracy. noone really cares. and it was done for the good of their users.
any opinions, better recommendatiopns for software etc... would be useful

What you found is someone that is pissed because they accidentally clicked one of the fake advertisements on the scanners site / program and installed something they didn't want. It is just someones blog where he/she is ranting off about their hate toward a company.
His first complaint is bout the 'hijacking search and homepage settings' when it is clearly shown in the image he shared that the installer asks if you want them, not just does it. His targeted complaint here is also at a beta install of the newest version; keyword beta.
His second complaint about partner sites / affiliates is just him reaching for straws for something to complain about. If another site/company has infected software, it is no the others fault.
The fake and misleading website content can go for every website with advertisements. Placement of ads causes frustration, sure. But it certainly doesn't make the product of the site horrible because someone accidentally clicks one.
The theft claim has a lack of evidence to prove it wasn't due to issues from user submitted files / definitions. At best it seems he just Googled for things to use in his rant to bitch about.
His claim about the 'rude and racism' comment is totally out of context. The comment that they are referring to is all the comments that suggest the company is from China and makes Chinese crap.
All in all you found a 16 year old that got butthurt for accidentally installing their toolbar. Don't read into blog posts that are not well known, known for reviews, and so on.

hehehehehe oh man I lol'd so hard
Also OP your computer runs at its best right after a fresh install, so my advice is to always keep that "new car smell" status and be smart about what you install.
This way you'll never need any anti-spyware or tune-up tools.
