How do I cheat?

Hello guys, I'm Brazilian. Since most games do not see dubbed in Portuguese, but only subtitled, I have trouble reading subtitles sometimes as in action scenes, as some disappear very fast.
So, as I can not do anything in Cheats Engine, I would use the Cheats Engine to pause the game just using a shortcut key in these hours. So, I can read the subtitles.

Could anyone help me?

Go to setting hotkeys and there set a hotkey to pause process
When you press the hotkey the target will freeze
