| It was know it didn't actually change the start menu the whole time. They even said so and showed it in a video.

windows 8 is more like a direct upgrade from 7 and the only downside is no start button or shadow copy which can be replaced by superior software you should be using anyways

Come on scrubs, I've been using the preview for 5 minutes and figured it out.
Has everything I ever used from the old start menu minus the actual list of programs.
Now you just press wkey and type the program you want, hit enter, much quicker than scrolling through a list of programs alphabetically.
And if you want them that badly, guess what, you can pin them to the task bar.

i know, but 20 of them my task bar would be almost completely full and i wouldnt have room for other shit, no reason to be so inefficient
