Yes. It actually makes a lot of the Pokemon less stupid imo. But some of them really shouldn't be fairy type... just my thoughts.
Also how come nobody brought this up when it was announced at E3?

the only problem found so far is they are pushing for azumaril to become water/fairy after so many generations of her having a completely different balance in the combat "triangle"

I looked at a short clip of the new fairy type, but didn't they introduce the fairy type to balance out the overpowered dragon type? They were talking about that when introducing the fairy type. If so than I think Azumarill's balance is a small sacrifice to pay. Dragon types are fucking annoying.

Yhep. Fairy dominates dragon. Doesn't make much sense, dragons stereotypically being strong against magic, but meh.

Fairy magic has always been the superior form of magic in many stories. I have no fucking clue why. It's always warlocks and witches chasing after them to gain incredible power and shit.
