It really does depend on your speed of the computer and how it can handly the memory. If it can't handle it too well when receiving requests from the internet, then this is quite useful.

Yes it's legal. There's no point though, your ISP is the bottleneck in your speed.

There's a plugin for this called Fasterfox, but like Dataflashsabot said, your ISP is which really limits your speed.

This is really just spamming the webhost server with requests, nothing more. If everybody uses this technique, the load times may increase. Just a warning.
