A friend of mine gave me his hard drive to wipe everything on it and do a whole clean install of a fresh copy of Windows 7.

I used dban nuke to wipe out the hard drive and I left it running over night. In the morning when I woke up, the power had some how gone off and laptop shut down in middle of dban.

Anytime I try to boot up the computer it says "bootmgr is missing" please press control alt delete

The installation disc I use is pirated and has w7 32-64 bit all editions. I can run it fine by booting off of it in the hard drive, however, mid-install some errors popup that don't allow me to finish installing the windows.

I have spent days trying to find a solution but with no luck, nothing that works came up

Can anyone help me out?

Start by running DBAN again but let it finish correctly and then try the install. And are you sure the install disc is good?
