|
|
I was hoping to purchase a domain from a provider that currently has some sort of promotion going on, and then host it for free at 000webhost. However, I'm aware that some domain promos charge you only ~$1 for each yearly domain, but then once the year is up, they revert back to their regular fees of ~$3-5 per month (or $36-60 per year).
If my plan is to keep this domain for the rest of my life, which domain provider would you recommend?
Also, is there any downside to using 000webhost, as opposed to a free host? I mean, 000webhost gives me everything I need. Is there something bad about it? |

Fatcow it is then, thanks!
Also, do you know how long it takes for a domain name to become "untaken" after it has expired? I paid for one year of the domain @ Intuit Webhosting, and it expired just last month. Do I have to wait for some period of time? Or can I somehow tell Intuit to let me renew the domain at FatCow? |

you could renew your domain at Intuit and direct it to your fatcow server.
If you want to take the domain from Intuit to fatcow I believe they can do that for you, but it will cost you |
