I appologize for all the unclarity, I wanted to demonstrate the steps I had tried, so everyone would know I didn't try one thing and threw my hands up yelling for help.
While penning this reply, I went back over the code from the beginning, where byteoffset could not be added because it was a string. After deleting lines and code that weren't pertainent to THAT procedure, I found the problem. In all of my codes I had a statement:
byteoffset = "0x" .. byteoffset
but I overlooked it here. The inconsistency was with me, the code does not work, yet, but I have no errors, just bad logic.
Really really thanks for your help, advice and patience.

What would the command be to re-set the RadioGroup back to a "no selected objects", after an item has been selected and a value derived from that selection? Same question for EditBoxes as well.

radiogroup_setItemIndex(radiogroupobject, -1) should clear the selection

edit_clear(editboxobject) should erase the text in it

The clear edit box worked, but the radio group gave an out of bounds error, attempted to set the index to 8 and got the same out of bounds error.

Hmm, I don't think the radiogroup supports no selection then.
When you could try is delete the whole list of entries in the radiogroup (clear the Strings Object (Items) and then refill it with the options

I think that inconvience is a small price to pay for the ability to recalculate the table.
Although when the form opens all the radios are unchecked.
Thanks
