I want to store a float (100000) into xmm0.

So I'm assuming it would be something like this.
Code:

00BB1D1E: // codecave
movss xmm0,Float value is here
movss xmm0,[eax+00000198]
jmp 009CA46E
009CA46E:
jmp 00BB1D1E
nop
nop
nop

But how would I put the float value there?

Easiest is just add a mov [eax+00000198],(float)100000
The next mov will then write 100000 to the xmm register
