I'm looking at either up2vps or budgetvm.

With up2vps I save $2.50 but budgetvm has better support (I hear), burst ram (better in the long run if we make a public server), and a bit more space (not important), more traffic (not important).

I'd like to take your opinions in account, and most importantly where you all want the server located.
up2vps offers paris, germany, east US, west US.
budgetvm offers only west US and east US.
If most of you are in the netherlands or whatever then I will gladly go for germany or france, but I think most likely we are all in the US/canada/some casino somewhere in peru, so my personal desire is of course for california.

Please let me know what you think and how much you can commit to donating (via paypal).
I will pitch in wherever possible, I don't have money now but I can try to get $20 or so next month, that will cover a couple months.

edit: bear in mind this will probably ALWAYS be a tekkit server, providing tekkit continues to update regularly, so if you don't like or can't run tekkit then you won't enjoy the server.
Some other things to bear in mind is that I won't give you op or spawn items for you if you donate.
I may not reward donors at all, though I'd like to think of a way to do so.
Maybe build statues of them in a town square.

I doubt many ppl will play in the server but if enough ppl play I can donate up to 5$ monthly

Gonzales donated $5, until I get another $5 from someone or myself we're still using my pc, which has about 50% uptime.
Also if anyone has ideas for a server theme that would be neat, or it can just be free roam.
I was thinking it'd be cool if everyone had their different specialized factories for making exotic products that are otherwise a pain to make, but I suppose after a while everyone will have enough emc to condense whatever they want.
I do think emc is a BIT cheat in that sense, I feel like the condenser should use some sort of fuel to transmute items, but that's just my opinion.
