Well it just seems like all stereotypes and stuff you see on american TV, of which I thought most was bullshit, turns out to be true. (In this case Jersey Shore)
When I first got here I had to go to some office and got questioned with the dumbest questions ever by some officer who was absolutely fucking retarded. He took himself as some kind of Sherlock Holmes trying to catch a terrorist or something. Asked me if I had been to Irak, Iran, Afghanistan,... (because I had been to my grandma in Morocco twice in the past 5 years, which isn't even close to any of those countries). Then started going on about how suspicious it was that I came to visit my family in America if I had family in Morocco. Makes total sense, right? He also said it was very suspicious that I hadn't graduated, and didn't believe me when I said you can still go to school at the age of 19 in Belgium. This guy didn't know shit about any countries other than America. Scratch that, he didn't know shit about anything. He asked me the dates of all the other times I had been to America before, which I couldn't remember because I was a little kid at the time. Then he started asking me in detail what the jobs of all my aunts and uncles were. I have a lot of family here who I haven't seen in years, how the hell was I supposed to know all that. So then he went like 'Hm, you don't seem to know much, do you?' I could have punched the cunt in the face! I have no problem with authority as long as they don't allow retards to have more rights than me.
So yeah, the writers of Harold and Kumar 2 did a great fucking job!

But why do you care so much about this? Or is it beyond stereotypes and you just can't stand having so many idiots in your life. Were that the case, I'd have to say almost all countries have mentally incapable people, it's just that they have a larger population and just a few more idiots per capita. I'm basing this off experience with people in my country and lightly on news and accounts from other countries, though, feel free to correct me if it really is different.

Oh, no, I didn't mean that lots of Americans are idiots or something. Most people I met here were actually very smart (except for the ones I met yesterday :p). If I'm commenting on America(ns) it's only because this is all special to me and there are so much differences between Houston and my home country, and I think that it's funny that all the things I used to see on TV (like the slut parties and overemotional girls of Jersey Shore) are actually true. I mean, you'd do the same if you went to live in another country for a while, no?
I shared the story about the cop not to dis on Americans but just because I remembered it when writing that post and thought is was a shareworthy story.
But yeah, I realize now that it might sound like I was saying Americans are bad or something. Not what I meant. America is great!
