I wasn't planning to post this since the gap between the previous project was too close to this recent one and I prefer that I should only post work that shows improvements or new technique, etc. However, I recently did a logo/design for a Hip Hop dance crew. I felt that it was more of my prouder work since I actually used some level of pen tool. Unfortunately, after they bashed on my art, they decided to use another design instead.
I'd really appreciate it if you guys give me constructive criticism as opposed to just commenting casually, it would really help me work on my weak points, while sustaining my stronger areas.

Thank you guys, I'm open to any opinion, I'd really like to improve. I feel like every time I have a competitor, I always feel the need to get even better.

about that "the empire strikes back " He might get disqualified because that is copyrighted.

Well that would make me much happier after they cruelly bashed on me. Oh well though, what can you do.

News Corp holds all the copyrights for that movie and it's assets.
in order to profit from their logo, you must first contact that company and ask for the proper permission. Of course said permission is not free.

They said they are modifying the design. Not sure how, but I think they might keep the phrase "The Empire Strikes Back" with "The Hip Hop Empire Strikes Back"

Yes.
@OP: You need to level things up. Nothing seems to be symmetrical in any way and it's all just too busy. Try to actually have some sort of concept in the things you make instead of just random lines (it seems to me that those arrows are random) and keep things level so that it looks centered, I suppose. Less of random stuff going off in different directions.

Yeah sorry about that, it was pretty much my first time actually trying to draw out my own letters(not all of them) and it was pretty hard trying to keep things going in the same direction.
I don't know what you mean by being too busy or have a concept, perhaps an example would help me visualize what you are trying to suggest
