is it just me or Cheat Engine 6.2 does not run on Windows 8 64 bits.

What is the error you get ?
And try running in compatibility mode with win 7 (or win xp)

Hi,

tried Windows 8, Windows 7 compatibility, with or without run as administrator. I am full admin of my pc and UAC is disable.

I dont see the error, it flash too fast. I will try to find something to record my screen so I can see what is the error.

UPDATE

ok if I start 32 bit version it is ok.
If I start 64 bit version which is the default on my 64 bit version of Windows 8 I get this

Main window open and I get a box label Error with a big red X and the message "Control-C hit" with a OK button. This message disappear in a split second so I had to record my screen to be able to see it.

Hmm, try this download: http://cheatengine.org/download/d1/CheatEngine62.exe
It's the most up to date version of ce 6.2 (I do some minor patches after release, perhaps you got it from a mirror that didn't have the latest fix)

Just wondering, is it an AMD cpu ?
