I was practically restricted to games that came out before 2007- and even those sometimes didn't work on lowest graphical settings-
But now that I've had my new rig, I can play games that I would dream about even with things like graphical enhancement mods.
My possibilities were expanded. Any game that I might not have played (Games about 2007- on) with a great single-player experience (Possibly even a multiplayer one too)?
Please keep in mind that I have owned a PS3, and that I was introduced to newer games in that fashion. Dead space, Skyrim, Mirror's edge, etc. I however did not own a large PS3 Library, since my PS3 always had issues because it was the only game system sony shouldn't have made.
So, anything?

Darksiders. Once you get passed the beginning, it's very enticing. Darksiders 2 also just came out, I was pretty psyched for it but haven't had a chance to buy/play it yet.
Bioshock and Bioshock 2 as well, of course.
And if you don't live under a rock, the Half Life games (Half-Life 2 might be your preference).

I'm not quite sure what sort of stuff you like or what you've already played, but that's the stuff that comes to mind so far.

I beat half life and half life 2. Amazing games, and I'm definately looking for games similar to those. Can't wait for Dishonored.
I don't... Understand Darksiders.
I still have yet to play any Bioshock games though.

I never beat the first Bioshock because I got bored (probably an age thing, I was a CoDfag)... but I loved the 2nd all the way through.

Darksiders is like Devil may cry meets legend of zelda.
Darksiders 2 is harder than Darksiders when you play on apocalyptic imo.

These are indeed some I will add to my list.
So I just looked back at the God of War (PS2 games) cutscenes, and started thinking how cheesy they were. But it didn't take long for me to feel like crying at how beautiful they actually are. I grew up with them being pretty much one of my first games that I actually became a fan of. I wish they'd release one or two on the PC

Metal gear solid 1-4
can't really be played on PC besides MGS1. but has one of the best stories if you're into action and japanese style art/entertainment.
