For anyone who was wondering about it;
ABOUT
Pokemon Online is an online competitive Pokemon battle simulator. Basically, it allows you to build a team without the hassle of training it for ev's and using TM's for their move-sets.
GETTING STARTED
First, download it here. When everything is installed and you start the program, you'll start at the menu. Obviously, you want to select Team Builder, unless you plan on battling with a team of Missing No. with only the move Struggle. Below I will list some links to some resources to creating a team, and preset teams.
RESOURCES
ONLINE
After completing you party go back to the menu and select Go Online, this will take you to the server browser. Go ahead and select the server Pokemon Online, it should be the very first server.
CHAT (IRC)
The first thing you will most likely notice is the integrated IRC window. To the left is a column with 3 tabs. Select Channels and either type CEF in the space on the bottom, or select it in the channel list if it's visible. Register your name by selecting the Register button, entering your password, and you should be set for the IRC portion.
FINDING A BATTLE
To find a battle simply select the Find Battle button. A dialog box will appear with quite a few options.
The first option is Force rated battles, which allows to do a ranked battle as long as you have ladders enabled (Options -> Enable ladder).
The second option is Force same tier. Tiers are explained on Smogon, but basically go Uber, UU, and OU. UU and OU stand for Underused and Overused.
The third option is Only battle players with a max difference of x, x is set at 200 for default. This let's you battle with people that are higher or lower the ladder rank. I would just leave as is.
HELP THE THREAD
If there's any questions and/or if you think I need to go more in depth in an area let me know.

| This needs to become a browser-based game. I don't like downloading clients.
