Hey!
The problem is this:
If I do a pointer scan for a string, when It's value appear in the pointer scan window as a 4 byte value, It shows a large number. But I can't put that value in the value to find of 4 bytes when I wish to rescan memory.
Thank you in advance!

change the address to to 4 bytes (in the table) and then right click it and hit show as hex
then rescan pointerscan with that value, or better, use directly the address to rescan not values.

thank you, Fresco. That made put the value in the value to find.
But it says It is invalid, cant put a hex value to be found there.
I always try to work there with addresses, but sometimes I need to search for values. =(

yes right, perhaps you could post a new topic
in cheat engine section and...
| you wrote: | title: cheat engine suggestion.
content: i want to be able to scan not only 4 bytes, float and double, i want arrys.
in pointer scanner with scan for value. |
just post something like that and it'll work.
[EDIT : A BUG, is when there's the feature and it doesn't work]
you problem here is that there is not the feature, therefore it's an improvement. not a BUG!!!

I mean. Look at the value found.(It is set as a 4 byte, as you told me to do)
But the value is too long, doesn't fit there in the rescan window.
The hex value fits, but it doesn't accept. Dialog says it's not a valid number.
This is buggy, isn't it?
As I said, I always try to use address to find. But sometimes I need to search for values.

i get it, you should search for an arry, but since ce doesn't support arrys yet, you could post a topic where you explain that you want to search 4 bytes in hex or arrys.
