I missed this topic.
Anyhow, yeah sorry, I uploaded a faulty installer that overwrites dbvm.img with the dbvm.img.sig file that I still need to replace
A working one can be found here: http://cheatengine.org/temp/CheatEngine62.exe

Np
I overwrite the existing installation with the new link you gave me. Now i'll get a bluescreen with a STOP 0x101 error code.

try this. When the system is at it's most idle, (e.g a bit after a reboot) go to the about scren and click on "your system supports dbvm"
if that doesn't work not sure. It it used to work then perhaps I uploaded a wrong version , and if it never worked perhaps your system is slightly different from mine

I haven't had the time to test it out yet. (so don't know if it's the release that bugged or just your system. Did it ever work for you ? E.g during the beta ?)
Anyhow, you can help me out by executing this in ce's lua:
| Code: |
dbk_initialize()
print(string.format( "%x=%x", 0x3a, dbk_readMSR(0x3a) ))
for i=0x480,0x48a do
print(string.format( "%x=%x", i, dbk_readMSR(i) ))
end
|
And then post the results
And you're sure that you did not disable virtualization in the bios ? (e.g in case the bios says: Enable the disabling of virtualization)

Hi,
I bought intel processor few weeks ago so i couldn't test it before and no, it never worked (except on my laptop which has an intel processor).
However here is the result of the script:
| Code: | 3a=5
480=da040000000010
481=7f00000016
482=fff9fffe0401e172
483=7fffff00036dff
484=ffff000011ff
485=100401e5
486=80000021
487=ffffffff
488=2000
489=627ff
48a=2a
|
I noticed the overlay saying DBK loaded and it didn't crashed by running the script.
Here are my bios setting about IT-V:

Thanks, i'll check if I can find out why it won't work.
(I take it you don't have a serial port and cable?)
Also, does this build still work on your laptop?

@Dark Byte:
Sadly no, i don't have a serial port. But i've tested this build on my laptop and it works flawless, well at least it doesn't crash if i click on "your system supports dbvm".
The label changed to: "Your System is running DBVM Version 7".
//edit: I have 6 cores and HT is enabled (as you can see on the picture).
