it doesn't matter whether you actually participate in these activities. you should not be associating with these people. if shit comes down, do you want to be involved? i know shit tonne of people involved with triads they believe they can 'call on' if they're in trouble or they just hang with them. don't think that association comes scot-free. at best you're wasting a lot of your time and at worst when shit hits the fan your ass is partially on the line. stop wasting your time with stupid shit that's not going to help you in your life and focus on the priority right now (probably studying). there's my advice. you can be a dumbass and ignore it if you like, but take it from someone older than you that has gone through similar stuff. |

I concur. I'm not a genius like those guys who quit school and go on to make millions. I have to study and work hard to learn the things needed to make money. But now I'm almost done, and the work I've put into those years and years of studying have not been wasted.
That said, the people who quit school and go on to make a lot of money are less than one percent. The people who get their degree and make a lot of money exceed that number by a lot. At least here in the Netherlands. There is a severe shortage of engineers of any kind, so job opportunities exist everywhere. | That kind of salary is approx top 1%. Given the amount of lazy fucks around, achieving this is realistic if you go to a good uni (work hard!!) and choose to be in a well paid profession. |
