I would try posting on the forums, people there are really helpful. And yeah, I'm liking Unity a lot more than I did.

It's been a while since I tried Ubuntu, but I remember the myriad of issues I had with Ubuntu and getting it on my second monitor. At the time I had to modify an 'xconfig' file or something, where I had to copy the parameters of my first screen, and change them to fit my second monitors' settings. After that a reboot fixed the issue, with the exception of being unable to change any sort of settings on the second screen. Granted that this was around 2~3 years ago, so I'm not sure if this has changed in the mean time.

Linux OS: - install it, feel like a hipster and start telling everybody how amazing it is. - discover the windows emulator - realise that you are using the windows emulator for 80% of the things you do on your PC - go back to windows.

I stopped using wine 3 years ago.

I use it to hax wireless signals, open up mysterious compressed files, and be anon.

Also on my server(s).

Honestly, I feel that it's just easier to have Windows be the main partition, and just use a virtual machine for linux. Honestly, you can fullscreen it, and there's virtually no difference than having linux being your main partition.
