| i don't need to tell you some fucking sob story. the thing is i ignored that shit and made myself what i am today. the thing is that the world is not fair. if you want something, sometimes you'll have it easier than others, sometimes not. the difference is the people who make shit happen even when luck is not on your side. you didn't. you wallowed in self-pity and now you complain. you have nothing to complain about, you already had a lot more opportunity than a lot other people. you just wasted it time and time again. these things don't happen from fucking up once. it's from a consistent self-sabotage of your own life

Well that's debatable.
If I look at most parents or teachers, and see how much they suck at using today's technology, or understanding simple things I'd say kids start being equal to their parents around age 16.
This is all because of the Internet and TV and technology our parents didn't have when growing up. The world has just changed so much in just one generation.
But at the same time, they have a lot more experience with other things. For example, I don't know the first thing about what you should pay attention to when signing contracts (buying property, renovating your house, deals with banks,...).

| kids aren't treated as equal and in my opinion never will be, even though they should be in most ways, like equal say and being able to voice your opinion.
