Not with all school but in general yes.
So we're taking the same course, but you are further along in it.

When you get a new PC and know little to nothing about computers and it's already on there and all over your PC + Microsoft endorses it. Most people who just use the PC casually don't care. They just want to use their email, FB, etc.

I like IE9. I wish they could incorporate more HTML5/CSS3 standards and improve JS rendering. I believe when Windows 8 comes out it'll be a much better IE. IDK if any browser can beat Chrome in overall awesomeness though 
I really like where MS is going though. Replacing netbooks/notebooks/desktops with tablets.
