Should I get the 3450? It's cheaper than the 2500k and beats it @ stock speeds, I do get that 2500k can oc higher, but it's not like ill need to oc it at the moment right?
Grandma is sending me 6k pesos (443 usd) this saturday or monday, w/e.
Or I can save and buy a fx-4170 instead, to spend the rest on like, dunno.
ideas?
btw, good option over the gtx550ti? that isnt above 140~?

550ti and 2500k will be fine. You won't be thinking about your hardware for years.
Also don't get AMD. I like AMD, but Intel offers superiors price/performance/heat/power, pretty much everything.

Just buy the 2500k.
Give me a call when AMD releases a new processor that has a better price to performance ratio than Intel's lineup.
There's a whole slew of reasons why waiting for whatever AMD's coming out with next is not worth it. Look at bulldozer.
AMD is currently like an old horse whose record has been deteriorating over the past few years. And each race it's owner says it's going to make a big comeback, but then it just loses again. No reason to start betting on the horse (AMD) now.
