And I see:
"...a scripting language such as Ruby is used for web-based system programming but would be completely inappropriate for embedded systems engineering"
Not sure how I feel about that. First I think he meant RoR (Ruby on Rails), but then I thought he may be right anyways since Rails is simply a framework (Like Grails for Java), and does not qualify as a language. At the same time, pure Ruby is not really suited for web programming.
Then I thought, Java is used for embedded systems, so too could Ruby be used if one retargets the VM.
Not sure how feel. Not sure how feel at all.
