What about sharing files via sd cards or slotradio and stuff?
It needs an fm receiver?
The app store is limited/moderated, requires a credit card even for free stuff, and the software won't install anything without using the market unless you jailbreak, which is beside the point.
Flash is commonly used everywhere, I load flash files all day every day on my phone, mostly to stream anime.

There are many different sharing apps, as well as things like email and SMS.
The radio apps use an internet connection to stream radio - most phones don't have an FM receiver.
Free apps do not require a credit card, and a lot of apps easily make it through the verification process. Apple mostly just checks to make sure they work correctly.
If it's for any type of video, there's support for most, if not all video codecs. Flash based websites are generally ignored as they just tend to suck (opinion), and why would someone ever play a game made for a desktop on a mobile phone - whose main purpose is for making phone calls?

No, all smart phones are just cell phones with extras. I'm not saying one is better than the other as it's all just personal preference. It's my personal preference to stick with Apple products.

I prefer Safari over the Opera Mini browser that's on most Android phones... aside from that, I'd go with Android.

- you can only install software that connect to
- app store but you probably meant full apps not trials and limited without paying
