Medicine is a highly competitive major. If you think you're going to get into any good medicine program without at least a dozen APs under your belt, you're simply wrong. Considering Calc AB is probably one of the easiest AP courses you could take (next to Comp Sci and Macro/Micro), there's really no reason not to take it. It kinda looks bad to have not taken it.

Saying you need maths for medicine is like saying you need english to become a doctor, dumbfuck.
